HAIR CARE TIPS
It is highly suggested you cowash your extensions before installation!!!
It is very important you treat this hair like it is your own. Be sure to use quality shampoo and conditioner. (Aussie Miracle Moist or Pantene is highly recommended).
When washing and detangling your hair, it's best to use a paddle brush or a wide tooth comb.
You can wash your hair as much as you'd like. To maximize the life of your hair, deep conditioning at least once every 1- 2 weeks is suggested.
Another way to maximize the longevity of your extensions is to brush and or comb through your hair every morning. It is very important you start from the ends and work your way up.
Before bed I highly suggest brushing your hair and placing it in a few large braids or flexi rods if you have a wavy texture. If you have straight extensions, simply wrap your hair and place a silk scarf on top.
For all Wavy and Curly extensions, applying a leave in conditioner cream while the hair is wet is highly recommended.
Step 1: Saturate your hair with lukewarm water
Step 2: Part your hair into 2 sections
Step 3: Apply a generous amount of conditioner to both sections
Step 4: Use a wide tooth comb starting from the bottom working your way to the top until all tangles are removed
Step 5: Place a shower cap on your head and leave the conditioner in the hair for at least 10 minutes
Step 6: Rinse the hair with cool water to lock in the moisture. Be sure to completely remove the conditioner and scrunch the hair when you’re rinsing it out
Step 7: Use a cotton towel or T-shirt to wrap the hair
Step 8: Leave the towel or T-shirt on the hair until you feel all excess water has been removed
Step 9: Remove the towel or T-shirt and apply
Apply Cantu Coconut Curling Cream if you have a curly or wavy texture
(Be sure to apply the cream to the nape area as well)
Step 10: Let air dry
Step 11: Apply Heat Protectant & style as desired.
